Vaughan Kids Love Reading

on June 11 as Vaughan Public Libraries (VPL) hosted Vaughan Kids Love Reading at Pierre Berton Resource Library, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vaughan Teens Love Reading

VPL’s Bathurst Clark Resource Library hosted 200 secondary school students on Friday, March 24 at a Vaughan Teens Love Reading event. Highlights of the day included appearances by award-winning authors, E.K. Johnston and Erin Bow, and the youth empowerment hip hop troupe, UNITY.

Celebrate Canadian Authors

VPL celebrated Canadian authors during Canadian Children’s Book Week by hosting author Wallace Edwards on May 10 at Dufferin Clark Library. Over 60 students from Glen Shields Public School enjoyed this session with the author.

Writer's Series

On Saturday, April 22, VPL proudly hosted acclaimed bestselling author, Richard Scrimger, and five local authors. They shared writing and publishing tips, personal anecdotes and excerpts from their stories to the delight of the audience.
