My Thoughts:
A haunting portrait of young Hollywood performers. When my friend first recommended this book, I took a look at the cover and thought ‘oh no, not chick lit!’ She assured me it was a must read. I took her advice and couldn’t put the book down for days. The true craftmanship of the novel is in the descriptive storytelling and vibrant realism. Easily translatable to real life, even for those of us who don’t live under the glare of the spotlight.
