Vaughan Public Libraries (VPL) is committed to providing welcoming, inclusive, and safe spaces that respect the diverse needs of all customers. If your library privileges have been suspended or you have been banned from a VPL location, you may request an appeal of the decision. If you have been suspended for one year or longer (or received an indefinite ban), you must request reinstatement before returning to VPL.
Your request will be carefully reviewed by VPL’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or designate. The CEO’s decision is final. While your appeal or reinstatement is under review, your library privileges remain suspended. You will receive a written response within 30 days of receipt.
