Indigenous Storytelling Workshop: Hand Drum Circle
  • A beautiful mix of traditional, ceremonial, contemporary, and original hand drum songs by Aqua Nibii Waawaaskone are sung and taught through kinaesthetic ways of knowing. For all ages. Session is hosted live on Zoom. Register on Eventbrite.

    This workshop is an incredibly healing experience. It encompasses teachings of the hand drum and how it is used in ceremony. The drum allows your heartbeat to connect to the earth’s heartbeat. This workshop is ideal for all ages from babies in the womb, toddlers, children, youth, adults and elders. All are welcome.

    Aqua the singer, songwriter, storyteller, artist, and activist is a strong Anishinaabe Kwe~Indigenous Woman, also known as Nibii Waawaaskone~Water Flower. She originates from North Bay where she was raised by her single Mom Waabishkaasin Kwe~White Stone Woman. Aqua is a two-spirit woman of mixed Ancestry; Ojibwe Métis with French and Scottish heritage.
