Enjoy time with your family and explore your community! Culture Passes are free family passes to local cultural, educational, and recreational facilities in and around Vaughan. Vaughan Public Libraries and its partners are reducing barriers for Vaughan residents by providing access to establishments that residents may not otherwise be able to visit on their own.
How to get a Culture Pass
To pick up a Culture Pass, visit any of the following libraries and present a valid VPL membership. See the Rules & Conditions below for full details.

Pass Types
There are two types of Culture Passes - Standard and One-Time Use.
Standard Passes:
The loan period is 7 days. Passes may be used multiple times during the loan period. This pass must be returned to Vaughan Public Libraries by the end of the loan period.
One-Time Use Passes:
This pass grants one visit to one venue. This pass is surrendered to the venue when used and does not need to be returned. New passes are available every Friday morning.

Rules and Conditions:
- Passes are limited to one per customer per week (7 days). Only one pass at a time can be checked out on an account.
- New One-Time Use Passes are available every Friday morning. Standard Passes may be available at any time.
- To take out a Culture Pass, customers need to present their valid Vaughan Public Libraries card.
- Passes are limited and will be distributed only at the libraries listed and on a first come first served basis. Passes cannot be renewed or reserved.
- Standard Passes can be used more than once throughout their 7-day loan period. Each One-Time Use Pass is good for one visit to one venue only.
- Standard Passes must be returned to the library within the 7-day loan period. One-Time Use Passes are surrendered to the venue upon use and need not be returned.
- Most venues provide access for up to 2 adults and 2 to 4 children. Please review the pass for specific information as well as for closures, blackout dates, etc.
- Passes are for family use only and may not be misused, transferred, or resold.
- Passes are free. If a Standard Pass is not returned, the pass will be cancelled and a fee of $150 will be charged to the customer.
