Local Author Services
Vaughan Public Libraries is proud to provide access to works by local writers and showcase the emerging literary efforts of our community. We love introducing library users to unique homegrown talent and giving local writers a tangible way to connect with their audiences.
Submitting a Work for Consideration
Local authors can donate their works for inclusion in the library’s collections. Authors may complete and submit a form to begin the process.
Local Author Showcases
We provide opportunities for local authors to promote their new books at the library and interact with our visitors.
Events and Programs
VPL offers Writers' Room to connect aspiring writers together, discuss topics like plot, character, and style, as well as share works and receive feedback. We also offer other writing programs throughout the year.
