VPL recognizes the right of any individual to object to using certain library materials, programs, exhibits, or services for personal use. VPL does not accord to any individual the right to restrict the freedom of others to make use of that same material, program, exhibit, or service. Library customers who object to a specific item in the collection, program, exhibit, or service may place a formal request for reconsideration by filling out a Request for Reconsideration form below. Decisions will be communicated to the originator of the request following completion of a formal staff review.
