The Point, Click, Connect Program is a computer training program for York Region residents aged 16+ who are: Indigenous, low income, seniors, persons with disabilities, or newcomers. Throughout the one-week course, participants will learn basic computer skills enabling safe internet practices, effectively increasing their self-confidence. Topics include:
• Computer Basics, Introduction to Windows
• Basic Communication on Email and Social Media
• Internet: Searching, Sharing, Google Drive
• Internet Safety: Privacy and Security, Online Shopping
• Networking and Job Searching Online
• Microsoft Office and Excel
• Individual Coaching: One-on-one support
Participants can register for all sessions or select their preferred topics.
All computer equipment will be provided at the program, but participants are welcome to bring their own laptops.
