This event is designed to raise awareness about medically complex children through an interactive book reading of One in 100, where participants can engage with the book's Where's Waldo—inspired format.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear from Safehaven's CEO, Susan Bisaillon, about the care and support this organization provides to children with medical complexities in Vaughan and across the GTA. In addition, Safehaven clients will share their personal stories, highlighting the challenges they face and the impact Safehaven has had on their lives.
This event is a unique opportunity to engage with the Safehaven community, learn more about the experiences of medically complex children, and celebrate the importance of inclusion.
