Budget Bites for Teens
  • Join our guest Alicia Koebel and learn to cook delicious meals that are easy to adapt, freeze well, and are just as delicious reheated! Be sure to come hungry! Recommended for grade 9+. Registration is $5 on Eventbrite.
    We will be making the following dishes during this program:
    • Green Lentil Curry
    • Soul Warming Stew
    • Naan, from scratch!
    This program will be presented by Alicia Koebel, Fitness & Lifestyle Coordinator at York University’s Tait McKenzie Centre.

    The room capacity is limited. All individuals planning to be inside the kitchen during the program must be registered as a participant. This includes any adult accompanying a child. Please contact the VMC service desk if you have questions.

    We are a nut-aware space and do not use nuts in our programming, but we cannot guarantee a nut-free facility. Please alert us of any allergies when registering on Eventbrite. Our kitchen programs are held in the VSES Teaching Kitchen, located on the third floor.
